Position
Elizabeth is a partner of Maples and Calder’s Banking and Finance team in the Maples Group’s Dublin office. Elizabeth specialises in banking and finance law, advising clients in structuring, negotiating, implementing and restructuring a range of financing transactions. She acts for leading domestic and global financial institutions, alternative lenders, major corporates, private equity funds and limited partnerships across a wide range of domestic and cross-border finance transactions. These include real estate financing (investment and development), acquisition and leveraged finance, project finance and fund financing, through bilateral and syndicated deals. Elizabeth also advises on loan portfolio sales, acting for purchasers, vendors and servicers.
Career
Elizabeth joined the Maples Group in 2012 having previously worked for a large Irish corporate law firm and was elected a partner in 2014. She has been ranked by Chambers Global, IFLR 1000 and The Legal 500.
Elizabeth was ranked as a “Leading Individual” in The Legal 500’s 2020 and 2021 Guide. In this guide, clients attested that “We have worked with Elizabeth on a number of transactions and have the utmost confidence in her judgement and advice. Liz is a very high-quality lawyer with an easy communications style”. Another client was quoted as saying: “Excellent support was provided in a straightforward manner. I would highly recommend Elizabeth Bradley”.
Chambers Global 2021 reported that clients had said Elizabeth “has a great eye for detail, which gives us full confidence”. The same source goes on to note Elizabeth’s “excellent negotiation and interpersonal skills”.
IFLR 2020 ranked Elizabeth as “Highly Regarded” and said she was “Very experienced with excellent legal and sector knowledge while also being very commercial and practical.
