Jay Kellerman is a partner and Co-Head of the Mining Group, as well as a member of the Mergers & Acquisitions and Capital Markets Groups. He served as the firm's Toronto Managing Partner for six years and has more than 25 years of experience as a corporate lawyer and advisor. His work is both transactional and advisory in nature and clients include public companies, investors and boards of directors. Jay is recognized as one of the top mining lawyers in the world by Who's Who Legal, and is considered a "most highly regarded individual" in financing and M&A by International Who's Who of Mining Lawyers and "one of the best in the business” by International Who's Who of Business Lawyers.

Toronto-based D’Arcy Nordick — ‘a heavyweight capital markets lawyer’ — jointly leads the practice and advised AIMCo Realty Investors on its C$400m private placement of notes. In Montreal, ‘absolutely fantastic’ securities head Robert Carelli had a banner year, which included advising the underwriters on SNC-Lavalin Group’s C$300m offering of debentures and assisting Yellow Pages with its C$315m notes offering.
