Karen is an Associate in our corporate claims team based in Ipswich. She qualified as a solicitor in 2004 and has specialised in defending litigated personal injury claims and property damage claims for a number of years. She also has experience of dealing with industrial disease claims.

Karen leads the motor claims team. As well as advising on all new motor claims instructions and supervising junior fee earners within the team, Karen specialises in high value, and complex litigated motor claims for a number of clients, including utility companies, a fire and security service provider and a rental hire fleet.

Her experience includes:

• Advising a facilities management company in respect of a fatal motor collision including representing the employed driver in the criminal investigation.

• Preparing and presenting various technical training courses delivered to client organisations at all levels of seniority.

• Engaging in an initiative dealing with Drive Assist credit hire claims against fleet clients. As a consequence of this strategy, many credit hire claims against her clients were discontinued or compromised resulting in significant savings for her clients.

• The review and implementation of our motor recovery claims process.

She is particularly focussed on brand protection and dealing with her client's claims in the most cost effective and efficient manner possible.
