David is an associate in our construction and engineering team, specialising in both contentious and non-contentious work for a range of clients across the central government, healthcare, energy and natural resources, financial services, and transport sectors.

David advises on the procurement and delivery of construction projects, with particular experience of advising on PFI/PPP and NHS LIFT schemes. David frequently advises on the drafting of professional appointments, framework agreements, collateral warranties, novations, bonds and guarantees, and building contracts, particularly the JCT and NEC forms.

David was recently seconded to Barclays Bank, providing advice and support in the day-to-day operation of the Bank’s property portfolio and management of its capital projects programme.

David's other recent experience includes project managing the contract for the implementation of the Dartford Free Flow Scheme for the Highways Agency, as well advising on future maintenance, improvement, and toll schemes in relation to the M25. In addition, David regularly undertakes work for TfL and LUL in relation to construction projects and development and regeneration schemes including the redevelopment of Earl’s Court.

David joined Eversheds as a trainee and completed seats in Construction Litigation, Core Real Estate, Employment, and Core Corporate. He gained particular experience of the Judicial Review process, High court and Tribunal litigation, and arbitration.
