Dan is an associate with the commercial litigation team in Cambridge, having qualified with the firm in September 2011. Dan works across the litigation practice, with a caseload typically including contractual and negligence disputes, professional and regulatory matters. Whilst in Cardiff, Dan assisted on, and soon after led, judicial review cases, acting for public authorities whose decision making processes were being challenged by individuals.

He was seconded for nine months to a financial regulatory investigation mandated by the Financial Conduct Authority, acting for a UK investment bank on the independent investigation of the extent of any mis-selling of complex financial products. He is currently seconded to the Independent Jersey Care Inquiry.

Dan has particular experience in disputes in higher education, having worked as a contracts manager for the University of Cambridge’s research office.
