Maddy is an Associate in Eversheds’ Commercial Projects, IT and Infrastructure team. She has experience of advising on a variety of IT, strategic partnership and other public private partnership (PPP) projects using a range of funding, procurement and contractual frameworks from project inception through the procurement/bid process, to contractual close. She has acted for both public and private sector clients in the UK and across the world, working alongside their internal teams.

Maddy’s key recent experience includes advising:

• Sunderland City Council – advising the Council on its c£40m+ ICT based strategic partnership project. Maddy has particularly focused on contractual documentation development and project management.

• London Borough of Harrow – advising the Council on its exit from its existing strategic partnership and ICT outsourcing arrangements and transition to its replacement ICT partner.

• Bangladesh PPP Office – advising the PPP Office on the implementation of its PPP programme, alongside a tourism PPP procurement in Cox’s Bazaar.

She has also advised a variety of public sector authorities and private sector contractors on various infrastructure and renewable energy projects including rail, desalination and solar power generation projects in the Middle East. In the UK, she has advised on waste management, fire and rescue services, healthcare, schools and road PPP/PFI/PF2 projects; and renewable energy projects including solar, wind and carbon capture and storage.
