Michael Burns is a partner in our Human Resources Practice Group. He has over 25 years' of experience as an employment lawyer and advises on all aspects of both contentious and non-contentious employment law for clients in a variety of sectors including manufacturing, telecoms, nuclear, retail, facilities management, BPO, construction and legal. Michael has particular expertise in large scale restructurings and the application of TUPE in both acquisitions/sales and outsourcing. He regularly advises employers of both unionised and non-unionised workforces on a variety of issues including NMW, data privacy, redundancy, variation to terms of employment, and applications for compulsory recognition.
