Stephen is an associate in our Tax group. He specialises in employee share and cash based incentives and is based in our Leeds office.

Stephen has assisted in implementation of LTIPs, HMRC Approved Schemes, EMI Schemes, SAYE Schemes and cash bonus plans for a wide range of companies from fully listed international groups to smaller private companies. He also advises companies on employee share arrangements in the context of mergers and acquisitions and flotations. In addition, Stephen advises non UK companies on the extension of their share incentive arrangements to UK resident employees.

Stephen qualified this year into the tax team, having trained at Eversheds for two years, gaining a broad legal education across several sectors. Stephen joined Eversheds with over ten years’ experience as an Army Officer, specialising as an engineering officer for military equipment, including design and procurement.

Stephen brings a very practical approach to law, and gives clear advice that is focused on achieving client objectives.
