Chris Vickers

Chris is a Principal Associate in our construction department. He specialises in non-contentious work including drafting and negotiating consultant's appointments, collateral warranties and security documentation.
As well as recently acting in a fairly large adjudication, Chris also has experience of:
Acting for a major developer in relation to a shopping centre regeneration project (project value circa £22 million) including reviewing and negotiating consultants' appointments and preparing the appropriate collateral warranties.
Acting for the funder in relation to the development of an out of town business park (project value circa £10 million) including drafting and agreeing consultants' appointments and general due diligence work.
Acting for a local authority client in relation to the procurement of a highways maintenance contract (based on the New Engineering Contract) including reviewing and agreeing amendments to the contract.
Assisting Eversheds' Real Estate, Banking and Corporate Teams in relation to a number of construction issues including the interaction between "construction documents" and other agreements (such as Development Agreements and Funding Agreements). Chris has also prepared a number of due diligence reports for use both internally and externally in relation to such transactions.
