Roberto successfully led challenges by a media company against sanctions imposed by the Superintendency of Information and Communication. He was also part of the team that successfully overturned a USD 80,000,000 fine by the Competition Authority on a multinational telecommunications company. He was also on the team that overturned a USD 140,000,000 fine by the Competition Authority on a multinational telecommunications company for alleged abuse of its dominant position. Likewise, Roberto was part of the team of lawyers that defended a multinational cement group in a dispute with several municipalities on the issue of the collection of an unfounded 1.5×1000 tax on total assets. In constitutional matters, Roberto was part of the team that successfully argued that municipal ordinances related to disproportionate fees for the use of airspace for telecommunications infrastructure and the collection proceedings for said fees by various municipalities were unconstitutional. This was a win for several clients.
