Position

Dr. Cristina Weidner is a restructuring partner in the Munich office of Kirkland & Ellis International LLP. Cristina advises on financial and corporate restructurings, acting for sponsors, creditors and investors in turnaround situations. One focus is the advice to German companies on their financial restructurings by use of international restructuring tools, often in complex constellations with multi-layered financing structures. Cristina also advises (secured) creditors on the financial restructuring of their borrowers. She acts regularly for creditors in the context of distressed M&A transactions and German insolvency proceedings.
