David advises clients in the life sciences and technology industries in strategic collaborations and partnerships, joint ventures, intellectual property transactions, general commercial matters, and data protection and privacy matters. He also advises private equity funds and other financial institutions in investment and financing transactions, mergers and acquisitions, and foreign direct investments in the APAC region, including in China, Japan, and South Korea. David specializes in advising U.S. and foreign pharmaceutical, biotechnology, digital health, and medical device companies of all stages, from start-ups to emerging companies to large multinationals, on their transactions encompassing the entire value chain. David is an expert on cross-border collaboration and licensing transactions and relocated to his native California after spending 15+ years in China.
