Position

Daniel is an advocate of the High Court of Kenya having been admitted to the bar 28 years ago. Daniel specializes in corporate, commercial and conveyancing law. He has been undertaken work related to mergers and acquisitions, banking law, capital markets, telecommunications, intellectual property rights, privatisations, arbitrations, creation of various types of securities and a wide range of corporate and commercial law transactions. In addition, Daniel is a legal scholar and has undertaken various pieces of legal research and writing in both national and international law. A number of his articles have been published in peer-reviewed law journals including the Journal of African Law published by the University of London and the International Community Law Review published by the Martinus Nijhoff Publishers, Netherlands. Daniel successfully completed his PhD studies at the University of Melbourne, Australia in 2009. Advising various international and local clients on the various regulatory laws including the Central Bank Act, the Banking Act, the Capital Markets Act, the Kenya Information and Communications, the Insurance Act, the Companies Act, the Retirement Benefits Act and the Petroleum (Exploration and Production) Act, the Energy Act and the various Regulations issued under these statutes.
