Hana Tawfik practice focuses primarily on commercial disputes, with experience in international cross-border disputes. She has been a pivotal part of the legal teams working on arbitral proceedings, commercial litigation and high value financial services disputes.

In addition, Hana played a key role as part of the legal team representing the Environmental Law Foundation in an intervention in the Supreme Court between a water company operating in the Northwest of England (United Utilities) and the operators of the Manchester Shipping Canal in a crucial challenge aimed at increasing access to justice for those affected by the “sewage dumping” activities of water companies.

Working towards a diverse, equitable and inclusive work force is key to Hana who is a founding member of Hausfeld’s Diversity and Inclusion Committee.
