Aqeel Kadri is an experienced competition litigator with extensive experience of both public and private enforcement of competition law in the EU and UK and has acted on some of the most significant antitrust cases of recent years, covering areas including predatory pricing, rebates, tying, refusal to supply and excessive pricing. He has acted in multiple cases concerning the pharmaceutical, banking, technology and automotive sectors.

His current practice encompasses both follow-on and stand-alone claims on behalf of corporate clients and in collective proceedings. He currently represents Hausfeld clients in the Trucks litigation before the Competition Appeal Tribunal, the class representative in Dr. Rachael Kent v Apple Inc. & Anr , and the proposed class representative in Julie Hunter v Amazon.com, Inc. & Ors.

Aqeel sits as a Recorder (Crime) on the South Eastern Circuit.

During his career Aqeel has been involved in numerous pro bono and DEI initiatives. He currently leads Hausfeld’s Social Inclusion Group.

Previously at White & Case in London and Brussels, the European Court of Justice in Luxembourg, and the Legal Service of the European Commission in Brussels.
