Renato Rodrigues Ruschi is an experienced and competent lawyer, despite his early age. Since joining the firm, in 2008, his practice is focused in structured finance transactions, acquisition and sale of non-performing loans and restructuring and renegotiation of debt, both in local and international markets. His expertise in other practice areas such as corporate and M&A is also a reliable asset which enables him to advise, coordinate and actively participate in different types of transaction and structures. Renato has an LLM from The University of Chicago Law School and practiced as a foreign associate at a law firm in Washington, DC, following the completion of his LLM.  Recently, Renato assisted Andrade Gutierrez Group in the US$356,348,680 exchange offer related to the notes due 2021, issued by Andrade Gutierrez International S.A., and in the issuance, by that same entity, and private placement of new notes in the amount of US$435,000,000, a transaction which involved a complex collateral structure in order to allow for the completion of the debt restructuring without jeopardizing creditors’ and other third parties’ rights and positions and which required numerous waivers and consents, in light of several other obligations of the Andrade Gutierrez Group.
