Career

Juan Pablo is a senior associate of the Dispute Resolution team at Baker McKenzie’s Santiago Office. He has over 10 years of experience in complex litigation with a focus on international commercial and investor-state arbitration. Prior to joining Baker McKenzie, Juan Pablo worked at top-tiered law firms in Santiago and London.

Juan Pablo holds an LL.M. from Harvard Law School and graduated first of his class at Universidad de los Andes. He has lectured at universities in Santiago and abroad, and published academic articles in internationally indexed law journals.

Juan Pablo focuses his practice in dispute resolution, with an emphasis on domestic and international arbitration. He has represented clients in arbitration proceedings governed by major institutional rules including SCC, ICC, ICSID, UNCITRAL and CAM Santiago, across a range of industries including energy, infrastructure, public concessions, and regulated markets, among others.
