Position
Anne-Marie Godfrey has extensive experience of advising investment managers throughout Asia on the establishment and regulation of hedge funds, private equity funds and retail funds. She counsels extensively on Hong Kong and European regulatory issues (including AIFMD).
She has considerable experience regarding the acquisition of fund management companies and in seed agreements. She advises sovereign and institutional investors on private equity, seed and hedge fund investments.
Anne-Marie has also advised on the listing of investment funds on various stock exchanges, and she advises extensively on prime brokerage agreements, ISDA master agreements, netting agreements and credit support documentation, as well as on other derivative instruments. She obtains SFC authorization for UCITS funds for distribution to the retail public in Hong Kong.
