Position

Andrea is a partner in the employment and the commercial property team having over 20 year’s experience in both areas of work. She heads up McKees Pathway being a bespoke employment and human resource consultancy service for employer clients offering an employment contract, policies and procedures audit, helpline service and insurance backed claims protection for employment tribunal cases and awards. In relation to her commercial property work, she works in the niche area of pension scheme properties (SIPPs). She acts for a number of the large providers, including James Hay Pension Trustees Limited, Namulas Pension Trustees Limited/LV, BW SIPP and Colston Trustees Limited/Curtis Banks in relation to their Northern Ireland property portfolios. This covers all types of commercial property work such as sales, purchases, leases, lease renewals, in specie transfers, licences to sublet and for alterations, and issues around rental arrears.

Trained McKees 1996; qualified 1998; Solicitor McKees 1998 to date, Partner from 2008; Tutor at Institute of Professional Legal Studies (QUB) on the property law, business law, tribunals and judicial review modules.
