Position

Helen is a Senior Associate in the corporate team and has experience advising on all aspects of corporate work.

Helen specialises in complex group reorganisations often involving capital reduction demergers, dividends, capital reductions, intra-group business and asset transfers, reorganisations of share capital, share-buybacks and s.110 schemes and leads the team in this area.

Helen also has experience providing technical company law advice, advising on the corporate aspects of Family Constitutions and advising registered societies, LLPs, property management companies and companies limited by guarantee.

Career

Helen is a senior associate in our corporate team with experience advising on a wide range of corporate finance transactions. Helen’s main area of expertise is company reorganisations, corporate governance arrangements and technical corporate law advice.

Having trained at Browne Jacobson, Helen has over 10 years’ experience advising on corporate matters for a variety of clients including large corporates, private companies, owner managed businesses and alternative corporate structures.  Helen now primarily focusses on leading our advice on complex group reorganisations (including demergers, capital reductions, capital reduction demergers, intra-group business and asset transfers, dividends and reorganisations of share capital). Helen also enjoys advising clients on corporate governance issues, succession planning, shareholder agreements, bespoke articles of association and supporting directors in understanding their duties.
