Mourant is active across the Jersey funds space, advising on all alternative and private capital fund asset classes, including more recently crypto and digital asset funds. The team provides an integrated legal and regulatory service, augmented by its colleagues in the finance, corporate, litigation, employment and data protection departments, and able to draw on the firm’s standalone consultancy arm Mourant Consulting. Felicia De Laat  heads the Jersey practice, taking the lead in the firm’s relationships with tentpole clients CVC, Schroders and Arrow Capital. Ben Robins is the global investment funds practice leader. Alistair Horn has vast experience in the establishment and launch of open and closed-ended investment funds and structures, and is also an expert in restructuring an the financing of investment structures. He also leads the firm’s cryptocurrency fund offering. Daniel Birtwistle  is also a key member of the team. Making partner in February 2022, Alex Henderson has a broad practice spanning the establishment and regulation of investment structures, with a focus on private equity, real estate, venture, and debt funds.
