John is a partner who has been advising the financial services industry in Guernsey, the UK and Australia for over 20 years. He specialises in corporate, banking and finance, and funds matters, and has substantial experience in trusts, pensions and insurance. Highlight deals: John has advised on: The Royal Bank of Scotland plc – £907m credit facility to Propinvest Group involving due diligence on 28 Guernsey entities; Aviva – insurance transfer scheme sanctioned by the Royal Court of Guernsey to give effect to Aviva’s reattribution of its inherited estate.
