Alexis joined the firm in February 2020, having trained at a boutique shipping firm and practiced at an international law firm in London. Prior to qualifying as a solicitor Alexis has had experience working for an IG Group P & I Club, after having obtained a law degree and a Masters in law covering international trade, carriage of goods by sea and marine insurance.

Alexis has experience in dealing with both contentious and non-contentious matters, covering sale of goods, commodities finance, charterparties, bills of lading and marine insurance. Alexis has acted for shipowners, charterers and commodity traders.

Alexis has experience in dealing with a number of arbitral bodies, including LMAA, FOSFA, GAFTA and the Swiss Rules of International Arbitration.
