Karen Harvey is the Managing Director of K J Smith Solicitors.
Karen started her career in Family Law in 1990, qualifying as a Chartered Legal Executive before completing the LPC at the College of Law, Guildford.
Karen was admitted as a Solicitor in 1998. She has held a variety of senior roles in Family Law and has gained extensive business experience as a Company Board Director, providing an invaluable insight into business operations.
In addition to her legal role, Karen has extensive experience at company board level and has a demonstrable record of adding value by contributing to the strategic aims of businesses. As a specialist in business development, she has an aptitude for identifying and developing commercial growth opportunities and is proud of her people-centric approach to business management. An ardent supporter of the ‘Investor in People’ framework, Karen believes in fostering a culture where employees feel valued within a team and where they are supported to reach their own personal potential.
