Position

David co-founded Fenchurch Law in 2010, and now acts exclusively for policyholders pursuing claims for indemnity against their insurers. He has a broad client base, including London market and national brokers, commercial policyholders and high-net-worth individuals. He recently advised the policyholder which suffered the largest single insured loss during the London riots in August 2011.

Career

Before opening Fenchurch Law, David was a partner at another firm of specialist insurance solicitors, where he acted exclusively for insurers in defending claims for indemnity under various types of liability policy, and in defending professionals against allegations of negligence. Prior to that David spent several years in the commercial litigation department of a City-based law firm, advising Fortune 500 companies in relation to claims against their London market insurers. David publishes regular client briefings and technical updates.

Leisure

David lives in the Chilterns, and when he’s not spending time with his family he is most likely to be found running on local trails, preparing for his next 100 mile race.
