Mathew qualified as a solicitor in 2007. He has spent 14 years at one of the UK’s leading pension law firms advising private individuals, pension scheme trustees, pension providers, law firms and large companies on all aspects of pension law including advice on the operation of SIPPs and SSASs, the drafting of pension scheme documentation and pension tax and regulatory compliance. He is one of the very few lawyers in the UK to have completed a secondment at the Pensions Regulator laying the foundation for a particular expertise in regulatory matters. He has previously been described by clients in the Chambers Guide as “proficient, knowledgeable and professional.”
He is a published author on employment and pension law topics and has been cited in the UK courts including the UK Supreme Court.
