Position

Prasad is the partner/director of Lloyds PR Solicitors. He is also the crime supervisor of the firm. The main areas of work are: police stations (giving advice) and magistrates’ court cases (attends hearings to represent clients).

 

Career

Prasad is a founding partner at Lloyds PR Solicitors. He was admitted to the Roll of Solicitors in March 1996 and has worked for a number of high-street practices before becoming a partner at Lloyds PR Solicitors in February 2006. He is a highly sought-after criminal defence lawyer, specialising in human trafficking, modern slavery, county-line drugs and exploitation cases. He is the head of the Police Station and the Magistrates’ Court departments at Lloyds PR Solicitors and also a supervisor for the VHCC (Very High Costs Cases) panel.  

Prasad has been a court and police station duty solicitor for over 10 years. In 2011 – 2012, he has been involved with the following two notable cases: R v Tran, Central Criminal Court (multi-hander, multi-million-pound conspiracy to produce cannabis by using hydroponics) and R v M, Croydon Crown Court (large, sophisticated internet banking fraud). He is also a supervisor for the VHCC panel and trainee supervisor.

Prasad is an expert who has been consulted by the BBC on the admissibility of evidence.

He has conducted over a number of high-profile investigations prosecuted by agencies such as the National Crime Agency (‘NCA’), the Serious Fraud Office (‘SFO’), HM Revenue and Customs (‘HMRC’), the Financial Conduct Authority (‘FCA’) as well as the various branches of the Crown Prosecution Service.

Prasad has extensive following of Romanian and Bulgarian communities, as well as many others.
