Career

Jennifer joined Mackrell, an international London based firm, to complete her two-year training contract, qualifying as a solicitor in 2010. There she remained for a further 6 years practising as a specialist Family Solicitor.

Jennifer joined Pinney Talfourd in February 2016 as an Associate Solicitor in the Family team and was promoted to Senior Associate Solicitor in May 2018.

Jennifer undertakes the departments collaborative work, having been a qualified collaborative solicitor since October 2013 and she can advise and represent clients in a collaborative setting throughout the separation process.

Jennifer has a wealth of experience in dealing with divorce and financial remedy cases which have an international element. Jennifer works with clients who are overseas and wanting to divorce via the English courts and has represented client’s in divorce proceedings and conducted financial negotiations whilst both parties were living in the UAE. Jennifer advises on Financial Settlements after overseas divorce and can advise on the validity of marriages/divorces that have taken place overseas.

Jennifer advises and prepares Pre-Nuptial and Post-Nuptial Agreements and Cohabitation Agreements for those couples moving in together but not considering marriage. She advises clients on ownership of property disputes between unmarried couples or between family members and can prepare Deeds/Declarations of Trusts to clarify the ownership of property.
