Julie’s extensive expertise spans three decades in all aspects of Public Law for Children and Young Adults including care proceedings, adoption, and child protection work – representing children directly and through their Guardians as well as parents, other relatives and foster carers.

Holding Higher Rights of Audience enables Julie to represent clients in Senior Courts in England and Wales. She has practised in York and acted for children from across North Yorkshire.

Held in high regard by counsel and Guardians of children that she represents, Julie is described as compassionate, focused, reassuring and adept at managing complex cases.
