Career
Martin is the Head of Construction & Engineering and has significant and extensive experience in dealing with high profile construction and engineering disputes, commercial litigation and dispute resolution, major case group actions and fraud.
Martin has been involved in many cases in the High Court and the Court of Appeal that have been reported and a number of those have been run under conditional or discounted fee agreements. Cases include: Fanmailuk.com Ltd v Cooper [2008] EWHC 2198 (Ch) [2008] B.C.C. 877, Fanmailuk.com v Cooper [2011] EWHC 902 (Ch), Kubik v Addleshaw Goddard LLP (unreported).
Martin also has a great deal of experience of adjudications and also of mediation.
In the latest Chambers Guide to the Legal Profession Martin “is recommended for his handling of complex construction disputes” and described as “extremely competent and displays great skills and determination in pressing forward claims, which are sometimes difficult and complex”.
