Jayshree Navin Chandra, Senior Partner at ZEUS Law, is a seasoned practitioner since 2001. As a part of the core leadership team since the firm’s inception, she has played an integral role in its growth and in setting up and managing the Corporate, Commercial, Real Estate and Infrastructure practices.

She advises and represents clients ranging from Fortune 500 companies to emerging companies and start-ups in a wide spectrum of domestic and cross-border transactions, across industries as diverse as healthcare, entertainment and media, e-commerce, power, FMCG, agro-based industries, pharmaceuticals, leisure and hospitality, student housing, real estate and infrastructure, transportation and logistics and tourism industry. She also advises Central and State Government departments and public bodies on legal matters and regulatory aspects pertaining to infrastructure projects, land acquisition, development & construction agreements on PPP Model, setting up of townships, IT parks, commercial complexes, residential projects and special economic zones, e-governance platform, technology, data protection and data privacy, advisory on bid process, related documentation and contractual arrangements with selected bidders post award of contract.

She expertly manages and oversees the execution of the transactional and advisory assignments of the corporate division. Her expertise lies in structuring, strategizing, and negotiating transactions for investment in, entry into, and exit from businesses, assessing the legal risks and issues and providing legal support and strategic advice to suit specific transactional requirements. She provides advisory on commercial and corporate governance issues, capital structure and issuance of securities and the establishment & maintenance of Joint Ventures and wholly owned subsidiaries in India and corporate social responsibility. She advises clients on vis-a-vis compliance with corporate laws, tax regimes, labour laws, foreign exchange regulations, and sector-specific regulatory and legal requirements.
