Isabella joined Atkins Thomson as a trainee and has now completed her first year of qualified practice.
She has gained extensive knowledge in the area of privacy, reputation management, commercial litigation, IP and defamation, representing both claimants and defendants, within a range of individuals and corporates.
She enjoys a varied practice reflective of her clients, having had the opportunity to work on matters in relation to electoral law including the recent Mayoral election, obtained successful outcomes on pre-publication matters against a number of publishers, as well as represented commercial interests of clients in matters relating to breach of contract and outstanding debts.
In addition, she works closely with Mark Thomson on a variety of defamation, harassment and privacy matters, and in bringing phone hacking claims against News Group Newspapers. She also assists James Heath as lead solicitor for the claimant group against Mirror Group Newspapers.
