Karen heads up Trethowans’ Licensing team. She has over 20 years of specialist licensing experience and can help with all types of premises licensing.
Karen is responsible for managing the licensing requirements of several large national restaurant chains. This includes all new premises licence applications throughout England and Wales as well as changes to existing restaurants such as, amending the layout and/or operational requirements; DPS variations; payment of annual fees and applications by staff for their personal licences.
As a result, Karen is familiar with licensing policies nationwide and enjoy good relations with the relevant licensing authorities. With the prevalence of outdoor dining, Karen is proficient at applying for street trading/pavement licences.
