Ashish joined DSK Legal in May 2010 in its Mumbai office right after graduating from the college. Ashish focuses on Insolvency and Restructuring and also has significant experience of Project Financing and Mergers & Acquisitions transactions, etc. in the Infrastructure and Energy sector.

Relevant Experience

Ashish’s work highlights include the following:

  • Advising Resolution Professionals during corporate insolvency resolution processes, liquidation processes, voluntary liquidation processes, etc. under the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code, 2016 (IBC).
  • Advising resolution applicants/bidders for submission of the resolution plans in the corporate insolvency resolution processes of the companies and for submission of bids in the liquidation proceedings of the companies under the IBC.
  • Advising clients for financing and refinancing of their debts through structured loans including domestic and foreign currency loans, revolving letter of credits facilities, etc. including restructuring and rescheduling of their debts.
  • Advising clients for raising finance by issuance of the non-convertible debentures under private placement from various stressed funds and investors.
  • Advised on structuring, documenting and negotiating transactions of mergers & acquisitions, private equity, strategic investments, joint ventures and investment restructuring in the Energy & Infrastructure sector.
  • Advising on various energy and infrastructure projects i.e. power projects, road projects, port projects, airport cargo handling projects, non-aeronautical development in airport, railway projects, etc. including development, operation and maintenance of these projects, drafting and negotiating documents for bidding process for PPP/PFI deals, consortium arrangement, project equity, project debt, EPC, O&M, Supply Contracts, etc.
