Career

Harvinder is a partner at the firm’s New Delhi office. He is a part of the Corporate Commercial, M&A and PE-VC practice group. Harvinder’s focus area of practice is Corporate Commercial (including Mergers & Acquisitions, Joint Ventures, Private Equity and Venture Capital) and Capital Markets. He has worked on numerous transactional and advisory matters related to corporate and commercial transactions, real estate transactions and capital market transactions. He has counseled varied mandates ranging from business transfers, asset purchases, to hiving-off of business units. Harvinder regularly advises clients on complex business, structuring, regulatory and legal issues connected and associated with E-commerce businesses, technology, IP, telecommunications and media businesses.

Harvinder has advised various domestic offerings viz. IPOs, FPOs, Rights Issues, Pre IPO placements as well as international offerings viz. GDRs and FCCBs issues. He advises his clients on negotiations and drafting of term sheets, structuring transactions, conducting due diligence, preparing and finalizing transactional documents.

In addition to his legal education, Harvinder is a qualified CS and is a Member of Institute of Company Secretaries of India.

Prior to joining DSK, he was a partner with HSA Advocates, before which he was with Fox Mandal & Co., as a senior member of the corporate practice group.
