Led out of Sydney by Aldo Nicotra and Sar Katdare, Johnson Winter & Slattery’s competition and antitrust team ‘consistently delivers accurate advice’ across a wide-ranging scope of competition, regulatory and consumer law issues. The practice is particularly active in merger control matters and high-profile ACCC investigations. Further, the group is noted for its ability to handle referrals from Germany and Belgium due to the expertise of Melbourne-based special counsel Wolfgang Hellmann. Also based in Melbourne, Tom Jarvis is a standout practitioner in the contentious competition arena. The group expanded its offering in the investigations realm with the appointment of special counsel Andrew Willekes from Norton Rose Fulbright.
