Career

David has over 30 years’ experience as a corporate lawyer specialising in mergers and acquisitions, company law and restructuring, as well as commercial and legal issues associated with buying and selling goods and services. He has particular expertise in regulatory and commercial issues relating to medicines, medical devices, clinical trials and primary healthcare.

David advises New Zealand entrepreneurs and large private companies as well as local subsidiaries of multinational companies. Those clients are involved in a wide range of businesses including the pharmaceuticals and medical devices, importing and distributing fast-moving consumer goods, manufacturing, retailing and investment.

David also has significant experience in overseas investment advice, shareholder disputes and corporate restructuring.
