As one of the 2019 intake of trainee solicitors, Amy has returned to her roots in Lincolnshire to take up her training contract. For her first seat she worked alongside Shruti Trivedi in the Planning team. Her subsequent seats were within the Private Client and Personal Injury teams. She is now working alongside the Family team.
In 2018, she graduated from the University of Leicester with an LLB in law and criminology. She then attended the University of Sheffield to complete her MA LPC, choosing proprietary rights on the dissolution of cohabitation as the subject for her dissertation.
Whilst studying, Amy has gained knowledge in family and criminal law and debt recovery from taking part in work experience placements with local firms. In addition, as an undergraduate, she was a representative for Aspiring Solicitors – an organisation set up to increase diversity in the legal profession.
