Position

Catriona is a Partner in RK’s Dispute Resolution Group. She has over 14 years’ experience advising on shipping disputes for a variety of global clients in both arbitration and the Commercial Court in London.

Catriona has a particular focus on arbitration, and specialises in disputes under charterparties, shipbuilding contracts and commodities contracts brought under LMAA, LCIA, ICC Rules as well as ad-hoc arbitrations and appeals from arbitration awards in the Commercial Court.

Recent cases in which Catriona has acted in the High Court include [2021] EWHC 2288 (Comm), CVLC Three Carrier Corporation and Another v Arab Maritime Petroleum Transport Co (The “Anbar” and The “Hillah”) and [2021] EWHC 551 (Comm)
On the non-contentious side, Catriona acts for both Sellers and Buyers in and ship sale and purchase transactions. She is a fluent Russian and French speaker.
