I am a solicitor in the Property Litigation team. For business and commercial disputes I deal with:

  • commercial lease renewals (service of s.25/s.26 and counter notices), commencing or opposing proceedings for a new lease;
  • preparing and serving break notices;
  • dilapidation (disrepair) claims;
  • breach of lease terms;
  • trespassing/forfeiture;
  • commercial rent arrears recovery procedure (CRAR);
  • construction disputes;
  • rights of way, easement and restrictive covenant disputes; and
  • town and village green applications.

With regards to residential matters, I deal with the following:

  • Residential possession proceedings
  • Serving s.8 and s.21 notices
  • Residential lettings advice
  • Enforcement of possession and money judgments
  • Tenancy renewals and deposit claims/procedure
  • Agricultural tenancies
  • Breach of lease and disrepair terms
  • Rights of way, easement and restrictive covenant disputes
  • Adverse possession claims
  • Neighbour and boundary disputes/party wall act notices
  • Contentious property issues related to insolvency

Prior to joining the Commercial Disputes team I worked in our Commercial Property department where I advised on landlord and tenant matters, planning agreements and commercial land transfers.
