Counting listed investment funds, real estate and natural resources as areas of particular activity, Norton Rose Fulbright's team acts for issuers and underwriters on cross-border matters. Fiona Millington and the US-qualified Thomas Vita acted for Credit Suisse, Morgan Stanley and Goldman Sachs as global co-ordinators and bookrunners on Landscape Acquisition Holdings's $500m IPO, and assisted underwriters including Citigroup Global Markets, Liberum Capital and Macquarie Capital (Europe) on a £215m equity fundraising by CityFibre Infrastructure on the AIM. Vita and Ian Fox acted for Goldman Sachs International and J.P. Morgan Cazenove on BioPharma Credit's $881m IPO, and Millington and Alan Bainbridge advised Barclays on the $2.8bn sell-down of its stake in Barclays Africa. Clients on the issuer side include Greencoat UK Wind and Vodacom Tanzania.

Norton Rose Fulbright has an excellent track record at the upper end of the AIM market, where it advisers issuers and NOMADs on transactions involving sectors such as financial services, technology, and real estate. Stephen Rigby, who has acted for AIM clients for more than 15 years, is particularly active in the energy, oil and gas and renewable power sectors. The group includes Fiona Millington, Thomas Vita, of counsel Kevin Connolly and senior associate Christopher McCarthy, who acted for Citigroup Global Markets, finnCap, Liberum Capital and Macquarie Capital (Europe) as joint underwriters and bookrunners in a £215m equity fundraising by CityFibre Infrastructure. In another high-end mandate, Richard Sheen and senior associate Clementine Hogarth and others advised eve Sleep Plc on its £140m AIM IPO.
