Chris joined Myerson as a member of the Corporate Commercial department dealing with company mergers, sales & acquisitions, incorporation’s, group re-organisations and general commercial matters.

Chris also assists clients with shareholder agreements, protection planning, share options and constitutional and corporate governance issues.

Education

Chris was educated locally at Stockport Grammar School and studied law at the University of Liverpool where he achieved a 2:1 LLB (Hons) degree. He went on to study the bespoke, law firm partner led, LPC Plus at the College of Law in Chester, attaining a Commendation.

Chris undertook his Training Contract with national law firm Halliwells LLP in 2008 where he gained a range of experience in Corporate and Commercial Law. As part of his training, Chris was seconded to Manchester United Football Club to work with their Legal and Business Affairs team.

Leisure

In his spare time, Chris is a keen lacrosse player and with over 20 years’ experience, he is recognised internationally as one of the best lacrosse stick stringers in the world.
