Career

Before establishing KP Partners, Paolina Ilieva served as a consulting attorney at a distinguished international law firm, providing counsel predominantly to clients within the IT industry. Her focus encompassed intricate matters related to IT transactions and dispute resolution. Prior to her specialization in IT law, Paolina Ilieva distinguished herself as a litigator in the Litigation & Regulatory department of a globally renowned top-tier law firm. Subsequently, she expanded her expertise in the vibrant landscape of Seoul, South Korea, assuming the role of an arbitration attorney within the Commercial Arbitration Team of a of one of the internationally most recognized Korean law firms.

Education

Paolina Ilieva’s educational journey is marked by her commitment to legal studies and a global perspective. Paolina Ilieva laid the foundation for her legal expertise at the Ludwig-Maximilian-University of Munich, earning her law degree in 2016 with the successful completion of the First Legal State Examination (1. Staatsexamen). Subsequently, in 2017, she studied at the Graduate School of International Studies of Seoul National University, gaining insights into international legal systems and diverse cultures.  In 2019, she successfully completed the second Legal state examination (2. Staatsexamen) at the Higher Regional Court (Landgericht) of Munich. All of these experiences reflect her dedication to academic excellence, a global outlook, and a solid legal foundation.
