Serhat Kısakürek is a founding partner of DLC Law Firm, his practice primarily on the areas of corporate law, Merger-Acquisition projects, Company Management, Energy Projects, Banking and Finance Law, Arbitration Law, law of contracts. He has been representing top-tier national and international clients for many years.

Serhat held multiple positions, including team leadership, and had the privilege of collaborating with several Turkish and international clients. With over 8 years of professional experience, he has not only established himself in the field of corporate and commercial law but has also carved out a niche in the sector.

Serhat’s expertise lies in Corporate Law, including Merger-Acquisition projects, Company Management, Energy Projects, Banking and Finance Law, Arbitration Law, and the Law of Contracts. As an inspiring leader, he has vast experience representing top-tier clients with unique problem-solving skills, particularly in complex cross-border transactions across a variety of sectors, including energy, construction, real estate, project finance, insurance, and maritime. As a project leader, he has completed successful acquisition projects amounting to a total of 322 million USD.

His bachelor’s degree from Istanbul Bilgi University Faculty of Law and Master of Laws both from Istanbul Bilgi University and the University of Zurich, is an attorney at law admitted to the Istanbul Bar Association. He also has a bachelor’s IBA degree from Columbia Law School.

His L.L.M thesis topic, “Electronic Arbitration and Digitalization of Arbitration”, explores the degree of harmony between modern technology, sustainability, and arbitration, emphasizing on key benefits of digital arbitration, such as paperless proceedings, remote participation, improved collaboration, and heightened security for sensitive materials.
