Career

Gregory started his career in the Ministry of Home Affairs, and then took on roles as a prosecutor in the Ministry of Manpower and legal officer in the Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore. Gregory was partner at a mid-sized Singapore law firm, Colin Ng & Partners, where he spent over 11 years, first in litigation and appearing in disputes before the State and High Courts of Singapore, before moving on to corporate practice in 2007. Gregory was a director with ZICO Insights Law from 2015 to 2019 before joining Altum Law in 2020.

Gregory’s corporate advisory and transactional practice covers a wide range of Singapore and cross-border business transactions involving private and public M&A, IPOs, RTOs, and other capital markets, securities, financing, commercial, private equity and investment transactions, and related corporate compliance.

He has been a recommended lawyer for Corporate and M&A in The Legal 500 Asia Pacific for the years 2012 to 2015 and a recommended lawyer for Capital Markets, Corporate and M&A for the year 2016. He was also ranked as a Leading Lawyer in the 2016 IFLR1000 for Corporate and M&A and most recently as Highly Regarded Lawyer in the 2018 IFLR1000 for Capital Markets, M&A and Real Estate Acquisitions.
