Career

Adelaide Cristina de Oliveira Favilla de Mendonça is a partner at Medina Osório Advogados‘ Brasília office. She is a lawyer, with a degree from the University of Uberaba (1998) and a post-graduate degree in Shared Management and Human Values from the same institution and a Master in Public Administration (MPA) in Public Policy, Management, and Administration Control from the Instituto Brasiliense de Direito Público (IDP – Institute of Public Law of Brasilia). She worked for 19 years in the Federal Public Administration, where she started as a UNESCO Consultant in a project for the Ministry of Health.

After this period, she worked at the Ministry of Transportation, advising the
department of supervision and coordination of the end-activities and associated bodies (DNIT / VALEC / EPL / RFFSA / ANTT / ANTAQ), at which time she effectively participated in projects aimed at implementing the transportation infrastructure and logistics nationwide, covering road and rail concessions, permits and authorizations, in addition to advising the management of the ministerial portfolio, including liaison with internal and external control bodies.

Also in the logistics segment, she was president of the Administrative Board of Companhia Docas do Rio Grande do Norte (CODERN), responsible for the
administration of the Port of Natal and Maceió and the Salt Terminal of Areia
Branca, and was president of the Fiscal Council of Empresa de Planejamento e
Logística (EPL).

In recent years, she joined the team of professionals at EPL, having the
opportunity to work on projects focused on planning the logistics of transport
infrastructure, besides working in advising corporate management, improving
governance mechanisms, having as attributes of value “Speed, Transparency,Sustainability, Innovation, Credibility, and People”.She has participated in several training programs, especially those focused on
Bids and Contracts, Public-Private Partnerships, Corporate Governance,
Compliance, Interpersonal Skills, and Project Management.
