Career

DINDO R. CERVANTES* obtained his Bachelor of Laws from the Arellano University School of Law where he graduated as the Class Salutatorian in 2014. His academic prowess in law school enabled him to maintain his scholarship grant from former Vice President Jejomar C. Binay. He graduated from the University of the Philippines with a degree in B.A. Political Science.

After passing the bar, Mr. Cervantes joined JGLaw in 2014 and Salazar and Camiña Law Offices in 2015 as an Associate Lawyer. Mr. Cervantes thereafter joined SPCMB in August 2015.

In 2016, Mr. Cervantes made history when he was appointed as the youngest Secretary to the Sangguniang Panlungsod of Makati.

Wanting to share his passion and knowledge of the laws, Mr. Cervantes took part-time employment as a professor of Persons and Family Relations, Obligations and Contracts, Law on Sales, and other Civil Law subjects in Arellano University School of Law in 2017 up to the present.

In 2021, he took up his Master’s degree in Public Administration from the University of Makati and is set to graduate this year with distinction.

Mr. Cervantes is currently on official leave from SPCMB as he is currently appointed and performing his duties as the Secretary to the Sangguniang Panlungsod of Makati.
