Career

Burçin Yıldırım Develioğlu LL.M. has extensive experience and a very strong academic background in international arbitration. She represented clients in international arbitral proceedings before international institutions such as ICC and the Swiss Chambers’ Association. She is also teaching international arbitration and dispute resolution in London School of Economics Summer School and completing her PhD thesis in Fribourg University, studying on “Party Autonomy and Applicable Law in International Arbitration”. 
She is also advising her clients regarding any legal questions about their investments and corporate law questions. She structured major deals regarding international joint ventures, M&A’s and foreign investments in Turkey. 
Before establishing Breitegger-Develioğlu Law Firm, she was a key lawyer in a boutique law firm representing clients in arbitration, dispute resolution, corporate and intellectual property law matters.
She is graduate of Uskudar American Academy and Galatasaray University. Following her graduate studies, she finished her LL.M in London School of Economics with distinction, after submitting her thesis on Arbitration of Intra-Corporate Disputes. She also completed her master’s degrees in Galatasaray University on arbitration of intra-corporate disputes. She was awarded prestigious scholarships for these graduate studies from Jean Monnet Scholarship Programme of the European Union and Scientific and Technological Research Council of Turkey, respectively.
