Career

Prior to joining Lee International, Mr. Shin was a partner at D’LIGHT Law Group where he led the founding of its international blockchain and ICO practice.  Prior to D’LIGHT Law Group, he was a managing director at GreensLedge Korea Ltd., an affiliate of GreensLedge Capital Markets LLC, advising Korean financial institutions in the structuring and private placement of global structured credit and alternative investment funds.  Prior to GreensLedge, Mr. Shin was an executive director at EIG Global Energy Partners LLC (Seoul Office) where he led the funding and establishment of one of Korea’s largest energy-focused private equity funds.  Prior to EIG, Mr. Shin was a senior corporate counsel at POSCO advising its M&A, Intellectual Property and Finance Departments as well as POSCO’s key subsidiaries, including POSCO Energy Corporation, POSCO Daewoo International and POSCO E&C Ltd.

He started his legal career at Yulchon LLC focusing on international capital markets and M&A transactions.  Mr. Shin possesses deep industry knowledge and perception derived from first-hand experience with diverse roles and responsibilities.  In addition to his professional career, Mr. Shin serves on the board of My Kids’ World, a non-profit organization supporting at-risk children and orphans in Cambodia and Myanmar.
