Rajiv heads the prosecution practice of the Firm along with transactional work involving IP/Commercial laws. He has extensive experience of nearly 25 years in handling the intellectual property matters which inter alia include portfolio management assisting fortune 500 companies safeguard their IP assets. Rajiv has supervised and handled numerous opposition, cancellation and enforcement actions involving intellectual property issues. Rajiv is also an expert at handling commercial agreements relating to foreign collaboration and joint ventures, related royalty payment and licensing issues involving intellectual property in such an arrangement, non-disclosure agreements, contracts etc. He regularly advises his clients on acquisition, transfer and sale of IP assets. Rajiv has advised clients on both IP and Commercial laws covering a wide spectrum of industries such as pharmaceutical, confectionery, healthcare, hospitality, real estate, e-commerce and software and hardware technology companies, FMCG, oil and gas, education, along with several startups etc. He is also involved in advising government departments/organizations in developing and protecting their brands in India.

Rajiv has been regularly attending international conferences promoting the Firm’s interest. He has also been categorized as a “recommended” lawyer for Trademark Prosecution/Litigation matters in India by Leaders League and Intelligence Report & Directory Series. Rajiv has also authored/co-authored articles for leading legal publications and has been a speaker at both International and national events. He has extensively appeared before quasi-judicial authorities in India.

Rajiv is a member of Bar Council of Delhi and had also been a member of Famous and Well-Known Marks sub-Committee at INTA for the years 2015-2017. Rajiv’s was adjudged amongst WTR 1000 – World’s Leading Trademarks professionals by World Trademarks Review for 2020.  Rajiv’s name also appears in the list of Recommended Prosecution Lawyer awarded by Managing IP in 2019 and “Recommended” lawyers in the Leaders League Intelligence Report and Directory Series for the years 2017 and 2018.
